Job summary

Lilly is seeking a senior Project Controls Leader to drive the governance, cost, schedule, and risk management for mega-capital programs. You will lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and Operations to ensure value delivery and compliance.

The role requires relocation to a project site with domestic and international travel. A strong background in cost management, scheduling, and risk is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Economics, or a STEM discipline.
• 12+ years of project controls experience on large-scale industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, energy, infrastructure, or capital construction projects.
• Expert-level proficiency in cost management, planning and scheduling, forecasting, change management, and project risk management for capital projects exceeding $1 billion.
• Demonstrated success leading project controls functions within complex, multi-billion-dollar capital programs.
• Willingness to relocate to a project site and travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and continuously develop high-performing project controls organizations delivering mega-capital programs.
• Serve as a strategic leader, translating objectives into actionable project controls strategies.
• Direct all aspects of project controls across the full project lifecycle and establish control processes.
• Champion enterprise project controls standards and digital solutions across the portfolio.
• Engage with senior leadership to provide objective insight and strategic guidance.
• Provide independent oversight of project financial performance and governance.
• Establish organizational capability through talent development and succession planning.
