Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis seeks a seasoned Senior Project Controls Leader to guide cost, schedule, and risk management for mega-capital programs. You will collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and Operations to deliver asset value while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires 12+ years in project controls on large-scale ventures, a strong track record across multi-billion-dollar programs, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Economics, or a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• 12+ years of project controls experience on large-scale industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, energy, infrastructure, or capital construction projects.
• Expert-level proficiency in cost management, planning and scheduling, forecasting, change management, and project risk management for capital projects exceeding $1 billion.
• Demonstrated success leading project controls functions within complex, multi-billion-dollar capital programs.
• Willingness to relocate to a project site and travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and continuously develop high-performing project controls organizations responsible for delivering business-critical capital programs exceeding $1 billion.
• Serve as a strategic leader within the project leadership team, translating objectives into actionable project controls strategies.
• Direct all aspects of project controls across the full lifecycle from conceptual planning through project closeout.
• Champion enterprise project controls standards, governance, and digital solutions across projects and portfolios.
• Engage with senior leadership to provide objective insight, recommendations, and strategic guidance.
