Merck invites a seasoned Director of Project Control to lead cost, schedule, and performance for Global Estimating Solutions in Wilmington, Delaware. You will drive planning, budgeting, earned value, and risk management for large strategic programs, partnering with senior leaders to maximize value and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 15+ years in pharma project controls, expertise in SAP, Primavera P6, and MS Project, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of project control or delivery experience in pharma/biotech.
• Experience in capital project management from FEL through Start-up and Licensure.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% across the Americas.

Responsabilités

• Establish and implement Project Control procedures and execution plans.
• Ensure delivery of Monthly Project Cost Reports: budgeting, forecast, earned value, and schedule status.
• Support Target Value Delivery implementation.
• Develop and maintain Project Spending Plans and liaise with finance.
• Interface with AE/CM Project Control to ensure compliance with GES processes.
• Lead and develop project controls staff within the program/portfolio.
