Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Senior Project Controls Leader to direct cost, schedule, risk, and change management for mega-capital programs. You will build high‑performing teams, drive governance, and align projects with financial controls and enterprise standards.

You will partner with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and Operations to ensure safety, quality, and value across the portfolio, while leading organizational capability and strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Economics, or a STEM field.
• 12+ years of project controls experience on large-scale industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, infrastructure, or capital construction projects.
• Expert-level proficiency in cost management, planning/scheduling, forecasting, change management, and project risk management for mega projects.
• Proven success leading project controls functions within multi-billion-dollar programs.
• Willingness to relocate to a project site and travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop high-performing project controls teams delivering capital programs over $1B.
• Translate objectives into actionable project controls strategies and ensure value delivery.
• Direct all aspects of project controls across full lifecycle from planning to closeout.
• Establish cost, schedule, risk, and cash flow processes for effective decision-making.
• Drive enterprise standards, governance, and digital solutions across projects and portfolio.
• Engage with senior leaders to provide strategic insights and guidance.
