Job summary

Plan International USA is seeking a Program Coordinator to support proposal development and project implementation across the U.S. and global offices. You will coordinate budgets, reports, and donor requirements while working closely with Proposal Managers and program teams to ensure timely, compliant submissions.

This hybrid role offers exposure to business development, cross-organizational coordination, and hands-on experience in international development within a U.S. nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1–2 years of professional experience supporting proposal development or related fields.
• Familiarity with donor processes (USAID, foundations) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program implementation in line with donor rules.
• Review budgets, budget modifications, invoices, and financial reports.
• Maintain budget trackers and data entry from Country Offices and HQ.
• Support proposal development calendars, timelines, checklists, and spaces.
• Coordinate internal proposal reviews and approvals across stakeholders.
• Prepare organizational documents and materials for proposals.
• Format, proofread, and QA narratives, budgets, and appendices.
• Coordinate meetings across time zones with global teams.
• Support post-submission and post-award coordination across U.S. and global teams.
• Contribute to improvements that streamline processes.
