Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced International Program Manager to lead international programs and build customer relationships across engineering, operations, supply chain, contracts, and business development. You will manage lifecycle activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure commitments are met on schedule and within cost and performance objectives.

This remote role requires up to 50% travel to our Louisville, KY facility, with a focus on global programs and international

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience.
• Prior experience in program/project management.
• Prior leadership/management experience.
• Prior international experience.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage international programs, ensuring alignment with both program and company goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for global projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee the execution of project deliverables, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international stakeholders, customers, and partners through significant international visits.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies.
• Ability to travel internationally & domestically as required.
• Networking with industry leaders and global stakeholders.
