Job summary

UNICEF seeks a GenU Green Rising Consultant within the Global Programme Division to support Generation Unlimited initiatives for a 12-month term, with work from New York and remote collaboration across teams globally.

The role requires leadership in volunteer engagement, capacity building, and stakeholder coordination, applying human-centred design and digital tools to advance youth participation and sustainable development goals.

Qualifications

• A first University Degree in a relevant field plus 2 years of experience may substitute an Advanced University Degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in volunteer and public engagement work.
• Significant experience leading teams to develop and optimize volunteer initiatives.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders in global contexts.
• Knowledge of digital tools and trends in volunteering and public engagement.
