Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree preferred; or first University Degree with 2 extra years of experience.
• Work Experience: 10+ years in volunteer/public engagement.
• Skills: ability to lead teams, engage multiple stakeholders, adapt to contexts.
• Digital tools knowledge and trends in volunteering and public engagement.
• Experience facilitating workshops using human-centered design.
• Experience writing fundraising proposals, including decks.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines.
• Solutions-driven and client services oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support UNICEF country offices from conceptualization through execution to launch, scale and/or adapt custom-built initiatives.
• Facilitate strategy workshops and provide technical/strategy support for climate and environmental action and sustainable livelihoods.
• Capacitate in-country staff focused on Green Rising priorities.
• Prepare fundraising proposals and donor reports.
• Advise on global strategy for Green Rising and related initiatives.
• Facilitate events for UNICEF practitioners across contexts.
• Disseminate toolkits and guidance on volunteer engagement for implementing offices.
