Job summary

UNICEF in New York is seeking a GenU Green Rising Consultant to support climate action and sustainable livelihoods initiatives worldwide. The role involves facilitating strategy workshops, capacitating country offices, and coordinating with diverse stakeholders across UNICEF units and partners.

The consultant will prepare fundraising proposals, draft donor reports, and help shape the global strategy for Green Rising, including events to connect practitioners and disseminate materials.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English required; strong written and verbal skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in global contexts.
• Experience developing strategies and donor communications.

Responsibilities

• Support UNICEF country offices from conceptualization through execution to launch, scale or adapt Green Rising offerings.
• Prepare fundraising proposals and donor reports for Green Rising.
• Advise on global strategy for Green Rising.
• Facilitate events for the Community of Practice on climate and sustainable livelihoods.
• Disseminate toolkits and guidance materials related to volunteer engagement.
