Job summary

United Legwear & Apparel Co. is seeking a Production Assistant to support the Production team in day-to-day operations across accessories or bodywear/legwear.

You will assist with sample management, product testing, factory compliance and quality assurance activities, helping the department meet timelines and quality goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, and clear communication with overseas vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate labeling and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; prior office experience preferred.
• Experience in production or manufacturing in the fashion industry is helpful.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic database systems.

Responsibilities

• Request, track and review pre-production and top of production samples.
• Maintain sample tracking sheet and submit samples to licensor.
• Review and manage trim layouts and labeling requirements.
• Gather customer labeling requirements from sales and communicate to vendors.
• Build customer-specific labeling worksheets.
• Communicate daily with overseas vendors.
• Track samples with overseas vendors and maintain tracking sheets.
• Collaborate with design, packaging, and development teams on samples.
• Report to production manager/director for timelines.
• Coordinate with Compliance-QA to obtain product fiber contents.
