Job summary

Amazon is seeking a GPV Investigator to join the Global Product Verification (GPV) team in Seattle. You will inspect and audit products sold by third-party sellers, using tools and SOPs to identify defects and ensure high quality for customers worldwide.

You will collaborate with leadership and Sr. Investigators, meet targeted investigative and QA goals, and help shift improvements in seller quality metrics and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, or Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
• Experience using computers and the internet
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Experience working with large datasets, determining trends/patterns which can be used for value decisions

Responsibilities

• Inspect and audit products sold by third-party sellers on Amazon.com store for defects
• Meet weekly investigative targets established by leadership
• Meet weekly quality assurance goals as defined by leadership
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and procedures
• Work closely with leadership and Sr. Investigators to drive upstream improvements in seller quality metrics
