Job summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a Product Specialist and Reliability Engineer II to support Tier 4 Regional Product Support teams by applying reliability analysis to identify issues from a global perspective.

You will act as a liaison among regional teams, distributors, and subject matter experts, developing and maintaining processes for escalation, case management, and Field Campaigns for the shovel and wheel loader team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in reliability engineering, quality engineering, mechanical engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience with statistical analysis and reliability methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication across regions.

Responsibilities

• Support Tier 4 Regional Product Support teams by applying reliability analysis.
• Organize and analyze regional product issues with global perspective.
• Lead issue resolution processes and develop escalation procedures.
• Manage product support cases, docs, knowledge base, and procedures.
• Collaborate with SMEs to create Field Campaigns and mitigation measures.
• Provide regular updates on issue tracker status, R&D activities, testing, and countermeasures.
• Serve as a regional Service Engineer substitute as needed.
