Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Manager, Product Management – Control Electronics to lead a global product management team and translate market strategies into actionable product plans.

You will own portfolio growth, profitability, pricing, and drive roadmaps while collaborating with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Market Managers to deliver customer‑focused solutions. This leadership role requires deep PLM/NPD experience and a proven track record in multi‑product portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years’ experience in Product Management within drives, controls and HVAC.
• Proven experience overseeing Product Managers or cross‑functional teams.
• Strong track record of owning product P&L, delivering product growth and profitability, and managing multi‑product or platform portfolios.
• Deep understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and new product development (NPD) processes.
• Strong technical acumen and ability to engage with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a global Product Management team.
• Translate market strategies into actionable product plans and priorities.
• Own portfolio growth, profitability, pricing, and investment performance.
• Drive execution of product roadmaps aligned to business and customer needs.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through obsolescence.
• Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Market Managers to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
• Review business cases and major product investments to ensure strong returns and competitive differentiation.
• Leverage customer insights and competitive intelligence to continuously improve the portfolio.
