Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Installation Engineer in Totowa, NJ to lead on-site installation and qualification of complex semiconductor capital equipment. You will drive on-time delivery, coordinate with engineering and regional teams, and ensure a smooth handoff to customers worldwide.

You will travel extensively, work independently under documented procedures, and grow with increasing autonomy as you gain experience across cultures and geographies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in supporting complex capital equipment for semiconductor industry.
• Experience with complex capital equipment and installation workflows preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as part of role.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership
• Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process
• Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time
• Secure warranty sign‑off on newly installed tools
