Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Installation Engineer to lead the on-time installation and qualification of complex capital equipment at customer sites worldwide, shaping the first impression of KLA's products and services.

You will install, align, calibrate, and verify systems, diagnose issues, and coordinate with engineering and regional teams to ensure smooth handoffs and warranty sign-offs. Extensive travel is required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electromechanical, and electrooptical systems.
• Experience with highvacuum systems is strongly preferred.
• Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly selfmotivated, organized, and detailoriented.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment.
• Collaborate crossfunctionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership.
• Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process.
• Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time.
• Secure warranty signoff on newly installed tools.
