Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Global Procurement Category Lead to develop and execute a globally aligned procurement strategy across the portfolio. You will partnering with business leaders to deliver value through strategic sourcing, supplier risk management, and stakeholder collaboration on a worldwide scale.

The role emphasizes cost optimization, market intelligence, and robust SRM while coaching regional managers to ensure consistent execution of global strategies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in global or regional category management with a track record of developing and executing procurement strategies.
• Commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder, negotiation and leadership skills in a global, matrix organization.
• Ter tiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• Professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS) or postgraduate qualification desirable.
• Deep experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and contract management.
• Strong analytical, influencing and communication skills.
• Strategic mindset with ability to translate market insight into tangible business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a 35-year Global Category Strategy aligned to business and regional needs.
• Lead global sourcing initiatives including RFX processes, negotiations and contract management.
• Drive value through total cost of ownership, risk mitigation and supplier consolidation.
• Establish and lead effective SRM frameworks.
• Provide market intelligence to inform sourcing and investment decisions.
• Partner with global and regional leaders across procurement, finance, supply chain and the business.
• Coach and support regional category managers to ensure execution of global strategies.
• Define and track category KPIs covering savings, service, innovation and performance.
