Job summary

Global Agri Chemicals Company in Chicago seeks a Global Procurement Category Lead – Portfolio to shape a globally aligned strategy for the Portfolio category, partnering with stakeholders across regions to drive value and resilience.

You will lead 3–5 year strategy, global sourcing, SRM, TCO, and KPI dashboards, mentoring regional managers and delivering savings and innovative supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in global or regional category management with a proven track record of developing and executing procurement strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen with stakeholder, negotiation and leadership skills in a global, matrix organization.
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• Professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS) or postgraduate qualification desirable.
• Deep experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and contract management.
• Strong analytical, influencing and communication skills.
• Strategic mindset with ability to translate market insight into tangible business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Job Description

AsGlobal Procurement Category Lead – Portfolio, you will lead the development and execution of a globally aligned procurement strategy across Company’s Portfolio category. What We Offer

Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets.

Thebase salary range for this position is $109,600 to $139,700 per year.

Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Company believes intotal compensation. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for additional forms of compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, financial, and other wellbeing benefits.
