Job summary

LATICRETE International seeks a Buyer to procure quality goods and services while meeting cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

You will collaborate with Planning, Operations, and Finance to execute procurement plans driven by demand signals and MRP, escalating issues when needed.

The role emphasizes inventory control, supplier relationships, and ethical sourcing, with domestic/international travel 5-10% as required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; 3+ years in procurement, inventory or supply chain.
• Proficient with MRP systems and data parameters.
• Strong analytical skills for complex data interpretation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management (35%): Model stocking plans considering demand, lead times, logistics, and supplier capability.
• Procurement (30%): Create/manage purchase orders, track orders, coordinate inbound logistics, and resolve issues.
• Supplier Relationship Management (10%): Build reliable supplier networks and monitor performance.
• Collaboration (25%): Align purchasing with demand planning, production schedules, and cash flow; provide timely status updates.
