Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a Global Director of Corporate Process Safety to shape and advance our global process safety strategy across a diverse manufacturing network. This leadership role will establish the vision for process safety excellence, strengthen governance, and drive risk management systems and safety culture worldwide.

You will lead a team of process safety professionals, partner with regional leaders, and influence safety performance on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in PSM, engineering, or high-hazard operations.
• Willingness to travel 15-20% domestically and internationally.
• CCPS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the global strategic plan and governance for process safety.
• Oversee PHA/LOPA quality, audits, MOC, and PSI governance.
• Enhance process safety culture and leadership across the organization.
• Facilitate PHA for global processes and support LOPA and HRA analyses.
• Provide PS engineering support on PHA, MI, PSSR, PSI, MOC.
• Participate in Incident Investigations and HSE teams.
• Lead asset and property risk management with Legal and insurers.
