Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a Director of Corporate Process Safety Management to shape and advance the global process safety strategy across manufacturing sites worldwide. You will lead a team to elevate PHA/LOPA quality, PSI governance, and risk management while partnering with regional leaders to strengthen safety culture.

The role requires strong chemical engineering expertise, 12+ years in PSM or high-hazard operations, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical Engineering.
• 12+ years in PSM, engineering, or high-hazard operations.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 15-20% of the time.
• CCPS and relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the global strategic plan and governance framework for process safety management to drive safety and performance improvements.
• Oversee PHA/LOPA quality, audit performance, MOC effectiveness, and PSI governance to expand scope and depth of knowledge.
• Build process safety culture and leadership capabilities across the organization.
• Facilitate or oversee PHAs for global processes and support LOPA, HRA, and other Process Safety elements.
• Provide Process Safety engineering support related to PHA, Mechanical Integrity, PSSR, PSI, MOC, and contractor safety.
• Participate in incident investigations and other HSE initiatives.
• Lead asset and property risk management activities with Legal and insurers.
