Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BS) or PE certificate in chemical engineering; MS or MBA preferred.
• 12-15+ years related experience with at least 6-8 years in petrochemical or specialty chemical processing, plus 6 years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Align engineering objectives and project plans with overall business unit or Division strategy.
• Develop plans for multiple project teams.
• Lead new product manufacturing capability studies and plant commercialization.
• Provide leadership to ensure the successful completion of critical stages of multiple projects/programs.
• Is instrumental in attracting and obtaining new business by promoting Parker technical capabilities.
• Partners with customers, suppliers, etc, to identify opportunities for process innovation.
• Provide leadership for manufacturing transfer projects between various regional chemical plants.
• Maintain frequent program management reviews to present status and refine project plans.
• Broad budget and accountability for technical and engineering systems investments.
• Ensure protection of Parker intellectual property.
