Job summary

Consilio, LLC is seeking a Global Privacy Program Director to coordinate day-to-day privacy operations across the United States, UK and other markets. The role reports to the Deputy General Counsel, Global Privacy, Cybersecurity and AI Governance Officer, and requires translating privacy strategy into practical controls, policies, and workflows.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of privacy experience, deep GDPR/UK GDPR knowledge, and hands-on capability in data protection, risk management, and AI

Qualifications

• 7+ years of privacy, data protection, or related experience.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR and UK GDPR; familiarity with US state privacy laws.
• IAPP certifications preferred (CIPP/E, CIPP/US); CIPM/CIPT or similar adds value.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and training abilities.
• Experience addressing AI governance concepts and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to interface with regulators and prepare formal responses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day privacy program operations aligned with Chief Privacy Officer strategy.
• Implement privacy governance processes, escalation pathways, and accountability mechanisms.
• Operate independently to prioritize work and escalate material risk issues.
• Provide guidance on GDPR, UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws.
• Track privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and data-governance developments and prepare recommendations.
• Apply AI regulations to privacy activities and update policies, notices, and controls.
• Partner with Legal, IT, Product, Operations, Sales, HR, and client teams to embed privacy-by-design.
• Support regulatory inquiries, audits, and information requests.
• Maintain privacy program metrics, dashboards, and risk reporting inputs.
• Drive training, templates, and communications for awareness and compliance.
