Job summary

Trulioo is seeking a commercially minded Senior Director, Global Privacy & Data Protection to lead our privacy strategy and data protection program across markets. You will serve as the European Data Protection Officer, guide executives on privacy risk, and work with Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales to embed privacy by design in products and contracts.

You will oversee PIAs/DPIAs, data governance, incident response, and regulatory readiness while shaping AI governance and responsible data

Qualifications

• 15+ years of privacy, data protection, or related leadership experience.
• Experience serving as DPO or privacy officer in global tech environments.
• Strong ability to translate regulatory complexity into business decisions.
• Proven track record partnering with Product, Engineering, Security, Legal and Go‑to‑Market teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead global privacy strategy and data protection program.
• Act as Data Protection Officer for Europe and advise executives on privacy risk.
• Embed privacy by design into products, contracts, onboarding and cross‑border transfers.
• Develop governance policies, DPIAs/PIAs and incident response readiness.
• Partner with Product & Engineering to enable privacy in agile development and GTM activities.
