Job summary
Digital Turbine, Inc. is seeking a Privacy Counsel in New York to serve as a hands-on advisor on global privacy and data protection matters across the platform, product, and partner ecosystem. You will work with Legal, Product, Engineering, Partnerships, and Ad Operations to embed privacy considerations into product launches and commercial deals.
The role requires a J.D. with active U.S. bar status, 4+ years in privacy law, and familiarity with CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, COPPA, and related frameworks.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of privacy and data protection experience.
- Experience negotiating data processing agreements.
- Ability to translate complex privacy requirements for technical and business teams.
- Comfort working with product and engineering teams on privacy by design.
Responsibilities
- Advise on global privacy and data protection laws (CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy).
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships to embed privacy into products and deals.
- Monitor regulatory developments and translate into practical guidance for internal stakeholders.
- Lead privacy notices, data inventories, and DPIAs as part of the program.
