Job summary

Allspring Global Investments seeks a seasoned compliance professional to lead the Global Privacy Program and support the broader Compliance Program. You will partner with Legal, Technology, Risk and business teams to implement privacy requirements and govern personal data across the firm.

Hybrid work is offered with in-office four days per week in Milwaukee or Charlotte. You will review vendors, offboard apps, maintain privacy platform data, and drive regulatory changes with an audit-ready

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in asset management compliance or similar function
• Strong understanding of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced, global environment
• Auditable, proactive problem-solver with ability to review complex programs and initiatives

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing administration and enhancement of the Global Privacy Program
• Review new vendors, applications, and business initiatives for privacy risks and governance requirements
• Maintain privacy governance platform data inventories, workflows, and controls
• Collaborate with Legal and business teams to ensure privacy provisions in contracts
• Monitor privacy laws and implement policy changes as needed
• Lead projects for new products, regulations, or procedures within the Compliance team
• Communicate and validate issues identified during compliance reviews
• Promote positive relationships with business teams and management
