Job summary

Rondo Energy seeks a skilled Process Safety Engineer to own and lead the global risk-based process safety management program. You’ll serve as the technical authority for hazard evaluation across sites (US, EU, APAC) and set a global standard with local adaptations, driving high‑risk studies and building a distributed facilitation network.

You will lead HAZOP/LOPA and mentoring activities, manage the PHA action register, and ensure PSSR and PSI compliance across a growing company at the forefront

Qualifications

• BS in chemical, mechanical, process, or related engineering with 10–15+ years in process safety.
• Multi-site or international process safety experience across regimes (OSHA PSM, CalARP, Seveso, WHS).
• Experience facilitating full HAZOP/PHA studies and leading high‑risk analyses.
• Willingness to travel internationally (estimated 25–40%).
• Ability to harmonize regulatory requirements into a single global standard.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale the global risk-based PSM program across sites (US, EU, Asia).
• Lead high‑risk and complex studies (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA) and mentor local facilitators.
• Manage the PHA action register, track closures, and escalate critical actions.
• Review changes for process safety impact within Management of Change and own PSSR.
• Build global process safety competency through training and network development.
