Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presale Solutions Engineer to join the Global Enterprise Strategic Accounts Presale Engineering group in the United States. You will work with Sales to deliver end-to-end solutions for Utility/Rail, Energy, and Corporate/Retail customers, shaping infrastructure, devices, backhaul, networks and applications.

You will travel 50-75% and be based near a major airport, collaborating with sales, engineering, and support teams to design and demonstrate solutions that

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer preferred).
Experience with wireless fundamentals and voice/data architectures (APCO P25, DMR, LTE, 5G).
Cloud (AWS/Azure) and IP networking knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

Gather technical and voice of customer requirements.
Design infrastructure, devices, backhaul, network and applications.
Plan deployment, migration, cutover and support.
Develop portable ecosystem demonstration kits for Global Enterprise verticals.
Partner with Sales for customer presentations, demos and pilots.
Engage with Product to promote opportunities and provide customer support.
