Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presale Solutions Engineer to partner with customers and the Sales team. You’ll own the technical design of end-to-end solutions for Global Enterprise Strategic Accounts, spanning utility/rail, energy, and corporate/retail verticals.

You will work with a team across sales, service, engineering and support to ensure customer needs are met. Travel 50-75% and location near a major airport is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and relevant technical knowledge.
• Experience with wireless and voice/data architectures (public/private).
• Familiarity with cloud, networking and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Gathering technical and voice of customer requirements.
• Designing solutions for infrastructure, devices, backhaul, network and apps.
• Planning deployment, migration, and cutover activities.
• Developing portable ecosystem demonstration kits for verticals.
• Partnering with Sales to deliver presentations, demos and pilots.
• Engaging with product teams for business development and support.
