Job summary

HDR seeks an experienced Global Project Development Lead to join our Power Generation practice in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead and grow the project development service line for both thermal and renewable power, manage client relationships, and shepherd projects from pre-positioning through completion.

The role requires 25+ years of relevant power experience, a PE license, and strong leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10 years related experience
• A minimum 5 years project management experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain capabilities to provide project development services in conjunction with Power Generation and Renewables Practice.
• Assist clients with identification and selection of project delivery methods to meet objectives.
• Assist clients with technical procurement and contracting of long-lead equipment while minimizing risk.
• Develop and maintain client relationships at all levels, from project team to executive leadership.
• Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals.
• Provide regular communication within the project team and with the client to align expectations.
