Job summary

Abbott is seeking a seasoned Program/Portfolio Director to lead the Business Enablement portfolio across global markets. You will orchestrate end-to-end initiatives from development through deployment, ensuring governance, prioritization, and operating models support scalable execution.

We are looking for a leader with deep governance experience, strong executive communication, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience in program/portfolio leadership within a global, matrixed team.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Cross-functional experience in Commercial, BTS/IT and Quality.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards related to medical devices (e.g., FDA, ISO, QSR design controls).
• Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-level portfolios and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise and divisional strategy into executable portfolio plans and prioritized roadmaps.
• Ensure all business enablement portfolio initiatives align to product roadmap and IBP.
• Orchestrate dependencies across Product ecosystems and Business enablement systems.
• Coordinate with BTS/IT, Regulatory, Quality, Commercial, Global Strategic Marketing.
• Drive go-live readiness and delivery excellence across programs.
