Job summary

Sycomp, a global IT services and logistics provider headquartered in Silicon Valley, seeks a Director, PMO to lead the worldwide Project Management Office and ensure delivery of customer engagements and internal programs.

You will partner with Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, Finance, and regional leaders to keep projects on time, within scope and budget, while improving delivery performance, continuity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of project or program management experience.
• 5+ years leading a PMO or PMO team.
• Experience delivering complex technology, infrastructure, or professional services engagements.
• Portfolio management across multiple regions.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, revenue, cost, utilization, and profitability knowledge.
• Executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global team of Project Managers and Program Managers.
• Establish expectations, accountability, and performance standards across the PMO.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development for PMO team members.
• Promote a collaborative culture focused on teamwork, ownership, transparency, and customer success.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders and delivery teams across regions.
• Maintain continuity across active customer engagements and internal programs.
