Job summary

Nordex North America is seeking a Plant Logistics Specialist in West Branch, IA, to support daily logistics and material flow across the site. You will coordinate with Material Management, manage shipments, and ensure accurate documentation to sustain production continuity.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in supply chain or transportation, SAP experience, and strong data analysis skills. Safety-focused with willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree not required but preferred in related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Transportation.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute daily logistics and transportation operations, including goods receipt, site deliveries, system transactions, and intercompany shipments.
• Coordinate with the Material Management team to track deliveries and maintain accurate documentation.
• Troubleshoot logistics issues with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Work with local forwarders to manage shipment status updates and documentation.
• Monitor storage conditions for key components to support inventory management.
• Create shipping documents and generate SAP requisitions for procurement workflows.
• Review logistics performance against targets and update KPI reports.
