Job summary

Nordex North America is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead assembly teams in our Iowa facility. You will ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met by coordinating resources, tools, and materials, and by driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in electrical/mechanical manufacturing, 2+ years supervisory experience, and familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, and Lean/5S methods. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly or manufacturing.
• 2 years of supervision or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with wind turbines, industrial, or automotive electrical/mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise assembly teams to meet safety, quality, and production targets.
• Manage resources and coordinate equipment, tools, and materials for daily/weekly production goals.
• Monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Promote 5S and Lean principles to improve process efficiency and safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards; support investigations as needed.
• Coach Team Leaders and Assembly Operators; provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
