Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a VP & Managing Director, Large Pharma to lead a strategic partnership with a designated large pharmaceutical client. You will align clinical development, delivery operations, and governance to accelerate the customer’s portfolio while driving sustained value for IQVIA.

In this global leadership role you will orchestrate matrix teams across geographies, manage financial performance, and shape resourcing models to ensure high-quality execution and growth.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience in pharma, biotech, CRO, clinical operations, or related fields.
• Proven success in senior client management and strategic partnership development.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Strong matrix leadership with global teams and cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior operational liaison between IQVIA and the customer’s clinical development organization.
• Lead the preferred provider partnership by shaping strategic resourcing models and identifying opportunities to deepen collaboration.
• Mobilize global IQVIA teams to anticipate customer needs and align delivery priorities.
• Drive year-over-year growth, expand market share, and sustain client satisfaction.
• Chair governance forums and oversee escalation resolution across the partnership.
• Lead portfolio-level risk management across clinical development programs.
• Partner on financial tracking, revenue planning, and strategic partnership opportunities.
