Job summary

Par Health is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead sourcing, screening, evaluating and negotiating new opportunities for licensing or mergers and acquisitions. The role also focuses on identifying growth opportunities, profitability and international expansion.

The Director will oversee BD budgeting, due diligence, and cross‑functional integration, working with finance, tax, legal, and external partners. Domestic and international travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA; MS, MBA or Scientific background highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in pharma with 8+ years in business development.
• Experience with generic and sterile products.
• Proven deal execution track record.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate opportunities in licensing, M&A and partnerships.
• Lead strategic and financial analysis to guide BD decisions.
• Oversee due diligence with internal and external teams.
• Present opportunities to senior management.
• Coordinate contract negotiations with legal and functions.
• Manage transition of transactions to cross‑functional teams.
