PharmaEssentia USA is seeking an Associate Director of Business Development & Corporate Strategy to drive priority biopharma transactions from screening through term sheet and signing. You will lead cross‑functional work streams, coordinate Legal, IP, Finance, R&D, Clinical, Regulatory teams, and bring clear recommendations to senior leadership.

The role requires hands‑on BD experience, strong judgment, and the ability to build deal capabilities in a fast‑growing, globally integrated company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hands-on biopharma business development, including in-licensing or partnerships.
• Advanced degree (PhD/MD/PharmD/JD) preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional deal processes with legal, IP, finance, and R&D.
• Strong financial/market modeling skills and competitive assessments.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and influence for senior leaders.
• Willingness to travel internationally (25%).

Responsibilities

• Lead priority BD transactions end to end from term sheet to signing.
• Coordinate internal approvals across Legal, IP, Finance, R&D, Clinical, and Regulatory.
• Manage external diligence with outside advisors and banks.
• Prepare executive-ready materials and presentations.
• Shape portfolio strategy and governance through boards level materials.
