Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a People Operations Specialist to optimize the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle changes, ensuring data integrity and compliance. You will partner with HRBP, Payroll, IT, and Legal to streamline workflows and deliver high-quality service.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years HR experience, and HRIS proficiency (Workday preferred). You’ll mentor staff and drive process improvements in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of human resources experience.
• Experience with HRIS systems; Workday preferred.
• Professional services or law firm experience a plus.
• Ability to lead projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data integrity in HRIS and manage lifecycle changes (onboarding, job changes, compensation updates, offboarding).
• Provide HRBP support including performance review and succession planning initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and own onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Ensure compliance postings and data privacy; assist with HRIS rollouts and reporting.
• Produce on-demand personnel reports and analyze trends to guide leadership decisions.
