Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a People Operations Specialist to lead and optimize end-to-end HR processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance. You will partner with Legal, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, IT, and Admin teams to streamline workflows and support HR systems.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years in HR (law firm experience a plus), and 2+ years working with HRIS systems (Workday preferred). The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of human resources experience; law firm or professional services experience is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience with HRIS systems and lifecycle changes; Workday a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HR data in the HRIS, including onboarding, job changes, compensation changes, and lifecycle events.
• Ensure data integrity, audits, and accurate firm data.
• Provide confidential HRBP support including performance reviews and succession planning.
• Act as onboarding and offboarding SME, guiding background checks, orientations, I-9s, and exit processes.
• Identify process improvements across HR lifecycle and lead rollout of system enhancements.
• Mentor junior team members and produce HR reports with data analytics.
