Job summary

Kpler is seeking a People Operations Specialist in India to support onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and employee data accuracy within a fast-paced, global team. You will manage HR processes, maintain policies, and drive improvements across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities include operating HR systems (BambooHR, Culture Amp), handling queries, maintaining SLAs, and ensuring data protection compliance. A degree in HR or 2+ years experience is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree or 2+ years in People Operations, HR Administration, or related field
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations; exposure to multiple countries is a plus (e.g., SG, UAE)
• Experience with HR systems; BambooHR and Culture Amp are a strong advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong digital literacy
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; multitasking abilities
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken; capable of supporting global employees
• High discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes; manage background checks, documentation, and leaver administration
• Coordinate internal movements (promotions, transfers) with People Partners and IT; maintain records
• Keep employee records accurate and updated across lifecycle
• Assist with payroll paperwork in collaboration with People Partners and Payroll Manager
• Maintain leaves records and serve as point of contact for employee queries
• Organize and manage employee support pathways; escalate complex requests
• Respond to queries on systems, benefits, and policies; ensure timely resolution via Jira or shared inbox
• Maintain and evolve a People knowledge base for self-service and enablement
• Monitor ticket resolution times and SLA performance; provide improvement insights
• Ensure data integrity across systems; comply with internal policies and data protection standards
• Draft HR documents like promotions and contract variations; ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support HR compliance tasks including reporting, audits, and access control
• Assist with handbook updates and policy monitoring; update courses and content uploads
• Propose process improvements and participate in People Team projects to boost efficiency and automation
