Job summary

TULU is seeking a People & Business Operations Manager to be the operational backbone of a global, multi-entity company. You will own the employee experience from screening to offboarding, run payroll, benefits, offices, and travel, and support leadership with documents and compliance.

You will partner with the COO/CFO and CEO, managing external advisors and ensuring timely, accurate operations across all regions. This role offers broad exposure to how a global company runs from the inside.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in business operations, people operations/HR, or related generalist role.
• Experience across the employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, offboarding.
• Willingness to learn legal, finance, and investor aspects of the business.
• Fluency with AI tools to automate tasks.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for leadership and board.
• Discretion handling confidential information.
• Hands-on, adaptable to ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting and manage first-round screens; support offers and onboarding.
• Run payroll and administer benefits across a distributed, multi-country team.
• Manage office operations, travel bookings, and ensure team events and celebrations occur.
• Maintain and organize employment, partnership, investor, and entity documents; liaise with outside counsel and auditors.
• Prepare recurring leadership, all-hands, and board materials and keep schedules on track.
