Job summary

Olly Olly in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Manager, People Operations to own payroll, benefits, tax, compliance and HRIS. You will lead day-to-day operations and drive maturation of People Ops across the organization, including global contractors.

This hands-on role reports to the Chief of Staff and partners closely with the CEO. It offers room to grow toward Director as the function scales with the business.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ownership of payroll, benefits and employment tax compliance.
• Experience with HRIS migrations and data cleanup.
• Experience managing people, contractors and vendors, including global contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-state payroll, audits and reconciliations.
• Own benefits administration, renewal, open enrollment and broker relationships.
• Keep employment tax filings accurate and on time (W-2s, Q4).
• Manage compliance for global contractor population.
• Drive BambooHR migration: data cleanup, testing, cutover, adoption.
• Own PeopleOps systems, vendors and budget.
• Coach managers through sensitive HR cases and investigations.
• Own onboarding through offboarding and lifecycle processes.
• Partner with leaders and CEO to provide data-driven HR recommendations.
