Job summary

Legora is seeking an experienced Head of People Operations to own the full employee lifecycle and scale our HR systems across markets. You will lead a distributed team across Stockholm and New York, drive data integrity in the HRIS, and partner with Payroll, Legal, and Finance to keep operations compliant and efficient.

Fluency in English and a track record building in-market HR capability at scale are essential as we expand into new geographies and continue to raise the bar for operational

Qualifications

• 8+ years in People Operations or HR Operations, including leading a team and building out local, in-market HR capability as a company scales into new geographies.
• Deep HRIS expertise across complex, multidisciplinary system landscapes, with a strong interest in data quality, integrations, AI and tools.
• Experience building scalable lifecycle processes and SOPs internationally, moving work from manual to automated.
• Strong grasp of multi-jurisdiction employment compliance across EMEA, AMER, and APAC.

Responsibilities

• Own the full employee lifecycle operationally, from offer to exit, end to end.
• Lead and scale the distributed People Operations team across Stockholm and New York.
• Run the HRIS data integrity, onboarding, data entry, and data QA as the single source of truth.
• Own contracts, transfers, salary changes, and payroll workflows in partnership with Payroll.
