Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Specialist to own payroll tax processing for US, Canada, and global entities, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting. You will configure withholding tax setups in Workday, reconcile liabilities, and lead quarterly/year-end activities with internal teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive payroll tax experience in US and Canada.
• Workday Payroll configuration and testing experience preferred.
• Experience with ADP SmartCompliance or similar tax filing providers.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliations.
• Analytical approach to complex tax scenarios with limited guidance.
• Experience coordinating with Engineering, Finance, and Tax teams.
• CPP certification and a degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll tax configuration, testing, and maintenance across multiple tax tables.
• Run payroll tax processing and reporting for US, Canada, and international entities.
• Reconcile payroll tax liabilities weekly and prepare quarterly returns with providers.
• Lead quarter-end and year-end activities including W-2s, T4s, and audits.
• Manage notices and liaison with third-party providers and internal teams.
