Job summary

Acast is seeking a Payroll Specialist to own the full payroll lifecycle for about 150 team members across the US and Canada, supporting hybrid work from SoHo, NYC. You will ensure precise, compliant payroll processing and collaborate with international teams.

The role emphasizes systems administration (ADP TotalSource, BambooHR), data integrity, and cross-border payroll support, including benefits and Canadian tax forms. 3 days per week in the office is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years payroll experience, ideally in ADP TotalSource or similar PEO environments.
• Experience with US labor standards (FLSA, FMLA) and multi-state regulations.
• Familiarity with Canadian payroll nuances is a plus.
• Strong data accuracy and data integrity skills.

Responsibilities

• Own semi-monthly payroll operations for US and Canada using ADP TotalSource, TriNet, and local agencies.
• Serve as administrator for ADP TotalSource and BambooHR, ensuring data integrity and system syncs.
• Collaborate with international People & Payroll teams to support global processes and cross-coverage.
• Navigate FLSA classifications, I-9/E-Verify, multi-state leaves, and local tax rules for compliance.
• Manage 401(k) match administration, benefits reconciliations, and Canadian tax forms (e.g., T2200).
• Support ad-hoc payroll and People Operations initiatives.
