Shutterstock is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to own US and Canadian Workday payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting broader international payroll operations. Hybrid work model and a strong focus on audits, controls, and employee inquiries define the role.

The ideal candidate has extensive Workday payroll experience (US/Canada) and familiarity with ADP Streamline/SmartCompliance. Collaboration with the Global Payroll and People teams is essential to success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workday payroll experience in a multi-state US environment
• Strong US and Canada payroll knowledge and compliance
• Experience with ADP Streamline and SmartCompliance
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end Workday payroll for US and Canada biweekly employees
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/provincial/local laws
• Generate manual or on-demand checks when needed
• Audit payroll inputs from multiple internal sources for accuracy
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues
• Liaise with People Team on payroll-related circumstances
• Support EMEA/APAC payroll processing with outside provider ADP Streamline
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures for tasks
