Chainalysis is seeking a hands-on Manager, Global Payroll to lead US payroll operations and global EOR activities. You will personally participate in payroll processing, reconciliations, controls, and issue resolution while coaching Payroll Specialists.

You’ll partner with People, Equity, Controllership, and Finance to scale processes, optimize providers like ADP, Deel, Workday, Bswift, and Fidelity, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions in a rapidly evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of payroll experience with US payroll ownership
• Experience coaching and developing payroll staff
• Hands-on experience processing US payroll (ADP/WFN preferred)
• Global EOR or multi-country payroll experience including vendor management
• Knowledge of US payroll taxes, filings, and compliance
• Experience integrating payroll with HRIS, benefits, equity, retirement systems

Responsabilités

• Lead payroll operations across the US and global EOR providers
• Own payroll calendars, cutoffs, funding readiness, processing timelines and approvals
• Process or review regular and off-cycle payrolls, new-hire onboarding and terminations
• Review data feeds from HRIS, benefits, equity, retirement, and timekeeping systems
• Coordinate payroll tax administration, filings, notices, and reconciliations
• Manage relationships with payroll providers and escalation paths
• Review results, provider deliverables, funding needs, and invoices per Finance controls
• Investigate discrepancies, determine root causes, and escalate risks
• Manage Payroll Specialists through goals, coaching, and performance development
• Establish ownership, documentation, and confidential, timely communication
• Partner with People, Equity, Controllership, and Finance to resolve issues
• Build scalable operating practices with documentation and cross-training
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
