Job summary

Trustly is seeking a seasoned Payroll Manager to own end-to-end payroll operations globally. You will lead a small team, optimize processes, and manage payroll platforms like NetSuite, HiBob and Concur across multiple geographies, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Experience in high-growth fintech is highly valued. The role involves transforming payroll delivery, coordinating with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors, and maintaining strong internal controls while driving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience including at least 1 year of people management.
• Experience in a high-growth FinTech or technology environment is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with at least one global payroll platform.
• Experience with HiBob, Concur and NetSuite is advantageous.
• Strong compliance and risk management mindset with robust reconciliation skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and scale payroll teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing payroll team to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.
• Drive the transition to a single global payroll platform and oversee policy and SOP development.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and labor regulations across geographies.
• Manage payroll vendor relationships and coordinate with HR, Finance, Legal and People teams.
• Oversee payroll accounting, reconciliations, funding, accruals and journal entries.
• Serve as main point of contact for payroll inquiries and audits.
• Continuously improve accuracy, timeliness, and operational efficiency.
