Job summary

BlackLine is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing for US, Canada, and Mexico, ensuring compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations, while identifying issues and escalating when needed.

You will back up global payrolls, maintain SOPs, coordinate with ADP and CloudPay, and collaborate with People Operations, Finance, and Benefits to optimize payroll processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Process, reconcile, and publish payroll data for US, Canada, and Mexico to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain payroll processes and systems for timely multi-state processing.
• Review timecards and wage/garnishment orders.
• Coordinate with ADP, CloudPay, and MSPs for payroll review and issue resolution.
• Prepare ad hoc reports on employee pay data.
• Partner with People Ops, Finance, and Benefits on payroll workflows.
• Oversee payroll data integrity and SOP library maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA overtime policies.
