Job summary

The A.C.Coy Company is seeking a Global Payroll Director to oversee our payroll operations across U.S. and international locations. This direct-hire role requires strong leadership, cross-border experience, and a proven ability to implement compliant, scalable processes.

Hybrid work arrangement in Pittsburgh, PA with 4 days in office and 1 day work-from-home. No sponsorship is available for work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related required
• Certified Payroll Professional designation preferred
• 10+ years of progressive payroll experience
• Prior leadership experience with a global organization
• Experience with international payroll (EMEA/APAC preferred)
• Experience partnering with legal to navigate multi-jurisdictional compliance

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on all payroll operations and compliance across U.S. and EMEA/APAC locations
• Manage payroll tax and wage and hour compliance
• Drive process improvements
• Establish centralized governance and standardized controls
• Manage all payroll functions including: policies, documentation standards, escalation processes, oversight of payroll operations for regional locations, local and federal laws, accuracy, and taxes
• Foster an accountability and service culture
