Job summary

GM Performance Power Units seeks a Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end payroll processing for salaried and hourly staff in the US and UK. You will ensure regulatory compliance, partner with HR, and drive accuracy through audits and reporting.

You will own timekeeping, data validation, and system configuration updates in Dayforce HCM, while contributing to continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance.
• 3+ years of hands-on Dayforce HCM experience.
• Experience performing payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly employees across GMPPU (US & UK).
• Ensure compliance with US federal and state payroll regulations, international pay practices, and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR for payroll deadlines, auditing, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and ensure accurate payroll reporting.
